Colorado Springs, in many ways, is regarded as a mecca for outdoor sports enthusiasts; yet, for those on Colorado Springs’ growing north side, commuting to the City’s fine offering of Sports Complexes far south of home has become commonplace. Scott Hall, a heavily invested father and youth sports coach, was a tireless champion for youth sports. Scott envisioned a sports complex close to home, worthy of the legions of participants and families that it would attract.
Tragically, Scott passed away in the fall of 2012. Upon Scott’s death, his father, Larry Hall, with the encouragement of family and friends, endeavored to honor Scott’s legacy with an Organization that would bear his name and continue to champion youth sports participation within the community. The non-profit Scott Hall Field of Dreams Foundation was quickly organized and a vision for a regional Sports Complex was embraced.
